About:
• 4X90X48: This indicates that the fitting is a 90-degree elbow with a 48-inch radius. The « 4X » likely refers to the 90-degree angle, and « 48 » represents the radius of the elbow.
• RAD PVC: « RAD » typically stands for « radius, » indicating the type of elbow. « VINYLE » specifies that the material of the fitting is polyvinyl chloride.
• ELB: This denotes that the fitting is an elbow, used to change the direction of a pipeline by 90 degrees.
• SCH. 80: This part specifies that the elbow is designed according to Schedule 80 thickness standards. Schedule 80 fittings have thicker walls and are used in applications where higher pressure ratings are required.
• PLAIN END: Indicates that the ends of the fitting are plain and require solvent cement or adhesive for joining to pipes or other fittings.
